President's Award for BSF Personnel announced

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) The President's Award for BSF Personnel was announced today on Independence Day 2007.

An official release said, in recognition of the supreme sacrifice and gallant performance in various activities rendered by the BSF personnel.

The President of India is pleased to award 05 President's Police Medals for Gallantry, 09 Police Medal for Gallantry, 03 President's Police Medals for Distinguished Service and 43 Police Medals for Meritorious Service to BSF personnel on the occasion of Independence Day 2007.
