Policemen awarded President's Police Medal for Gallantry

Lucknow, Aug 14 (UNI) On the occasion of Independence Day, three Police personnel have been awarded President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service, 34 personnel Police Medal for long and Meritorious Service, while 21 others for Gallantry.

According to sources, IG Himmat Singh, DySPs (SIT) Raghvendra Singh and Karunakar Rai (Sitapur district), have been selected for the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

DIG Dalgeet Singh Chaudhary, SSPs Braj Bhooshan, Ashok Jain and Akhil Kumar, ASPs Rajendra Singh and Rajesh Kumar Pandey, and DySPs Ram Badan Singh, Shahab Rashid Khan, Rajesh Dwiwedi, Iqbal Singh and Padam Singh, inspectors Arun Kumar Singh and Santosh Kumar Singh, Sub inspectors Vijay Kumar Rana, Bhupendra Singh, Sanjay Kumar Gupta and lt Arvind Singh (posthumous), and head constables Ravindra Babu, Sahveer Singh and Rajendra Singh Nagar will be awarded with Gallantry.
