Haryana targets Rs 2,00,000 cr in investment
Ballabgarh, Aug 14 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the state government has set an investment target of Rs 2,00,000 crore and aims to create a market-friendly business environment to enhance industrial investment in the state ''From the formation of Haryana 40 years ago till 2005, Rs 40,000 crore has come as investment,'' Mr Hooda told reporters on the sidelines of JCB India Ltd's plant expansion.
However, from the year 2005 till date Rs 28,000 crore investment has already been done with Rs 55,000 crore in the pipeline, he added.
Investment plays a crucial role in growth process by not only adding to productive capacity but also by improving the technological base. '' The government has set a target of Rs 2,00,000 crore as investment into the state,'' the chief minister informed.
