CPM's stand on nuke deal clear: Raghavulu

Tirupati, Aug 14 (UNI) CPI(M) Andhra Pradesh unit Secretary B V Raghavulu today said the party was against the 123 Agreement reached between India and the United States on civil nuclear co-operation.

Mr Raghavulu, who came here to participate in the anti-repression stir called by the Left parties, told reporters that ''party's stand on the Agreement was clear and will not support it.'' Asked about withdrawing support to the Congress-led UPA Government if it went ahead with the deal ignoring Left's opposition, he said ' let the government, first, come up with a clear strategy on the Agreement'.
