Christians taken out a rally against GO 747

Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 14 (UNI) In protest against the recent GO 747 banning other religion propagation at temples, Christian organisations today took out a massive rally here today.

Hundreds of Christians led by leaders of various Christian organisations participated in a procession which reached the Collectorate office and raised slogans demanding the immediate withdrawal of the GO.

They alleged their people were facing hardships and harassment from people of other religions, following the GO.Later, they submitted a memorandum to District Collector S S Rawat.
