Chemical factory blast leaves 2 dead in Anand

Anand, Aug 14 (UNI) Two people were killed and two seriously injured in a blast at a chemical factory at Kalamsar village in Khambhat today.

The roof of ''Khambhat Chemicals'' came down at around 1430 hrs after a chemical substance exploded, spilling chemicals all around. The victims were in the room when the incident occurred.

The deceased are Yogesh Brijbehari Dave (44) of Vadod town and Natushana Makwana (34) of Ralaj village.

Two people seriously injured were rushed to Ahmedabad civil hospital.

Khambhat rural police were at the spot to ascertain cause of the blast.
