Arms and ammunition recovered from the hideout in Nowshera

Jammu, Aug 14 (UNI) In a major success, security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from a militant hideout at Kalar Pata in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here this evening.

Acting on a specific information regarding presence of militants in the forest area of Kalar Pata in Nowshera, the troops of army and police launched massive search operation to flush out the militants and destroyed the hideout.

During search of the area, two AK rifles, three pistols ( two pakistan made and one chinese made), four pistol magazines, one wireless set (chinese made), five hand grenades, four pistol rounds, 241 ak rounds and four explosive (gufles) were recovered.
