About 400 police personnel promoted to next grade in Kashmir on ID

Srinagar, Aug 14 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police have promoted about 400 officials of the Kashmir valley to next grade on the occasion of 60th Independence Day.

Describing it as Independence Day gift, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir range, S M Sahai has ordered promotion of 23 Head-Constables to Assistant Sub-Inspectors while 369 Selection Grade Constables have been promoted to Head-Constables.

Two constables have been also promoted to Selection Grade Constables.
