64 officers donate blood at Civil Secretariat

Chandigarh, Aug 14 (UNI) As many as 64 senior officers and officials of the Haryana government voluntarily donated blood at a camp organised by the Blood Bank Society of the PGI at the Haryana Civil Secretariat here today.

The blood donors comprised 55 males and nine females.

There were donors like Mr S K Jain and Mr N R Mehta who donated blood for the 40th time. Similarly, Mr Mohinder Dutt donated blood for the 30th time and Mr Satish Sharma for the 26th time.

It may be recalled that Chief Secretary Prem Prashant had urged all Administrative Secretaries and all Heads of Departments stationed at Chandigarh and Panchkula to voluntarily donate blood at this blood donation camp.
