TBA scale for school teachers in Orissa
Bhubaneswar,Aug 13 (UNI) The Orissa government today decided to provide Time Bound Advancement(TBA) scale to High School and Middle English school teachers.
Finance Minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadhei told newspersons here that such a decision of the government would cost an additional expenditure of Rs 150 crore to the state exchequer.
Around 5000 ME School teachers and 3000 HS teachers who had taken over in 1989, would be benefited by it, he said.
The government had decided to give TBA to teachers in 2002, but the proposal had been withdrawn after some irregularities were detected in its implementations.
It was forced to take the decision after the State Administrative Tribunal directed the government to pay TBA to the teachers.
