Rabri Devi asks Centre to ensure security of Biharis in Assam

Patna, Aug 13 (UNI) Expressing concern over the recent killing of Biharis in Assam, Opposition leader in the Bihar assembly today demanded the Centre and Assam government to ensure security of Hindi speaking people there.

Ms Rabri Devi told mediapersons here that the banned outfit ULFA had been attacking the Biharis in Assam since long and should be checked imediately.

Demanding their security, Rabri Devi also asked for proper rehabilitation of the victim families.

She also appealed to the extremists to give up violence and join the main stream of the society.
