One labourer killed, 8 injured in factory fire

Jalandhar, Aug 13 (UNI) One labourer was killed and aleast eight others were injured in a fire that broke out in factory here this evening.

Fire official said that one Mukesh Kumar died in the fire that broke out in a boiler and a machine of a factory situated in Leather Complex. It took nearly two hours to doused the flames, he added.

All the injured persons were admitted in the civil hospital for treatment. Cause of fire was yet to be ascertained, he said.
