Noted Humorist Sivaswamy passes away

Bangalore, Aug 13 (UNI) Noted Humorist and former All India Radio Director S N Sivaswamy passed away this afternoon here after a brief illness.

He was 87. He was survived by his wife Rajam Sivaswamy, five brothers, including Journalist S N Chandrasekhar, noted Gandhians S N Subbarao, N Krishnaswamy, Engineers S N Lakshmana and S N Ganesh.

Mr Sivaswamy, who had also served in Doordarshan as Director (Commercial), was a close associate of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan here.

Bhavan had condoled death of Mr Sivaswamy.
