MP CM takes part in Mahakaleshwar sawari

Ujjain, MP, Aug 13 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his wife Sadhna took part in the traditional 'sawari' of Mahakaleshwar in this ancient temple town on the third Monday of the Hindu month of 'Shravan'.

Mr Chouhan left for Delhi by a government plane in the evening.

As is the custom, a platoon of police personnel saluted the deity at the shrine's main gate and the sawari was accompanied by a police band. Devotees showered flowers along the route. The sawari is brought out every Monday in the months of 'Shravan' and 'Bhado'.
