Low pressure to bring more rains to parts of AP
Hyderabad, Aug 13 (UNI) Coastal Andhra Pradesh will experience rains in the next two days as the well-marked low pressure persisted over Gangetic West Bengal.
Moderate to rather heavy rain or thundershowers were likely to occur at many places over Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, the Weather office said today.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers were likely to occur at a few places over Telangana and in the remaining districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rain or thundershowers were likely to occur over Rayalaseema.
Rain occurred at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the last 24 hours. Weather had been mainly dry over Rayalaseema.
Adilabad recorded a rainfall of 2 CM and Mandasa (Srikakulam dist), Prathipadu (East Godavari dist), Repalle and Sattenapalli (both Guntur dist), Tadepalligudem (West Godavari dist), Vikarabad (Rangareddy dist), Yerragondapalem (Prakasam dist) one each.
