HC gives J'khand govt a day time to reply on bus services
Ranchi, Aug 13 (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court today asked the state government to file an affidavit on introduction of bus services in the city by tomorrow.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Muthuswamy Karpagvinayagam and Justice Narendranath Tiwary passed the order while hearing a PIL filed by one Janak Kumar Mishra.
The petioner's lawyer Sanjeev Kumar Mishra argued that the state government should develop and provide public transport system in the capital and its surrounding areas for cheap and easy communication.
He further stated that at present autorickshaw in the state have increased causing pollution.
Besides, the auto drivers often indulged in rash driving leading to frequent accidents, Mr Mishra said.
