Four terrorists to be handed over to Pakistan
Jodhpur, Aug 13 (UNI) Four Pakistani terrorists lodged in Jodhpur Central Jail would be handed over to Pakistani authorities a Wagah check post in Punjab.
According to jail authorities, these four terrorists have been handed over to the Jammu and Kashmir police. The police team along with the four terrorists are on their way to Amritsar under heavy security.
These Pakistani nationals namely Mohammad Hanif, Hussain, Sopi Jamal and Mohammad Ramzan, were captured for anti-party activities in Jammu and Kashmir. They were later transfered to the Jodhpur Central Jail from Srinagar jail in 2001 due to security concerns.
The prisoners would be handed over to Pakistan as part of the prisoner exchange programme between the two countries on the occasion of Independence Day. Some prisoners would also be handed over to India too by the Pakistani authorities.
