Charas worth Rs 20 lakh seized, one held

Jaunpur, Aug 13 (UNI) Police today arrested one person and seized charas estimated at Rs 20 lakh in the international market.

Police Superintendent M Ashok said Ansar Ahmad, a resident of Kotwali area in the city, was nabbed during checking of vehicles.

Two kg charas was recovered from his possession.

The accused was booked under NSA and NDPS Act.

Meanwhile, a reward of Rs 2,500 was announced for the police team.
