Brahmaputra mail derails in Assam, Rajdhani delayed
Guwahati, Aug 13 (UNI) The Delhi-bound Brahmaputra Mail was derailed in Upper Assam's Dibrugarh railway station at around 1945 hours today when the train was shunting.
Official sources said three wheels of an AC 2 tier coach was derailed while changing track for clearing route for the Rajdhani Express.
However, there was no injury to the passengers.
Engineering team rushed to the scene and cranes were being used to clear the route.
The New Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express is likely to be delayed by five to six hours as a result of the derailment.
