Axis Software aims turnover of Rs 450 cr
New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) Country's leading biometrics technology company Axis Software Pvt Ltd today today said it plans to achieve a turnover of Rs 450 crores by 2010, a jump of 25 times over 2006-07.
''The company expects to make substantial gains in the global markets this year and will continue to focus and invest on development of innovative banking products,'' said a statement.
Axis will also open its new headquarter facility in Pune with operations commencing by the third quarter of this financial year.
The facility will include a product design and customisation centre and R&D services.
Plans are also underway to set up satellite offices globally in the US, Europe and West Asia, added the statement.
''Our expansion into new service lines, verticals and geographies, scaling up the company's footprint is imperative to meet our customers' needs and to accommodate the organisation's considerable growth,''company Chief Executive Officer Abhay Khinvasara.
Axis had recently won a large order from the UK government-- Commonwealth Business Council (CBC) and is worth about 5.5 million dollars.
