Prosthodontic society conference in Delhi from Sep 8
New Delhi Aug 12 (UNI) About 1200 dental experts from all over the country will take part in a four day Indian Prosthodontic Society conference to begin in the capital from September 8.
The four day conference on Prosthodontics is being organised by the Army Dental Corps with a theme 'Treatment for the partially Edentulous'.
''The subject has been chosen carefully as about 80 per cent of the Indian population is suffering from dental ailments. Most of the young and the old in the country are facing problem of missing teeth, newer technologies in the Prosthodontic field including implants, esthetics (Smiling face), ceramics, cast partial dentures and fixed partial dentures will be discussed during the conference,'' said Lt General Paramjit Singh, President Indian Prosthodontic Society.
Apart from these topics, major discussion will also take place in bringing down costs of dental modalities, so that they reach the common man at reasonable cost.
Eminent Prosthodontic surgeons from world over will be coming as faculty during the conference.
