LS MP Anwar Hussain condemns killing of 23 Hindi speaking in Assam

New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) Lok Sabha MP Anwar Hussain today condemned the brutal killing of 23 Hindi speaking people at Dalmora Ranteron village in Karbi Anglong district of Assam.

''Only mad and those who are devoid of common sense and humanity could commit such heinous acts,''Mr Hussain said in a statement here.

Mr Hussain said the organisations which had committed the act were trying to give an impression that the Hindi speaking people, especially the Biharis, were enemies of the Assamese people.

''Its is not a fact. And all Assamese people are extremely against these killings and condemning it. As such I appeal to all that these incidents should not be considered as anti-Hindi speaking killings by the Assamese people,'' MP said.
