FIR against 'Rajkumari' of erstwhile Panna princely state

Panna, MP, Aug 12 (UNI) Police have registered a FIR against erstwhile Panna princely state's 'Rajkumari' Krishna Raja and six others in connection with beating up case over a property dispute about three months back.

The FIR was registered yesterday following the directions of Judicial Magistrate Manjulata Chaturvedi.

'Yuvrani' Jiteshwari Kumari had alleged that her sister-in-law 'Rajkumari' Krishna Raja and six others had beaten her up on the intervening night of May 30-31.

A complaint was lodged with police but no case was registered forcing Ms Jiteshwari her to move the court.

Six other accused are not family members of erstwhile Panna princely state.

Police said it would investigate into the matter before taking a decision about arresting the accused.

Ms Jiteshwari said police were not arresting the 'Rajkumari' and other accused due to political pressure.

Ms Jiteshwari and Ms Krishna Raja are involved in a property-related dispute.
