Fashion designer attacked, suffers serious burns

New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) Fashion designer Tarveen Suri today suffered serious burn injuries after unidentified men burnt her after pouring Kerosene on her at the designer's residence in South Delhi.

The dwo arrived at the designer's house in Greater Kailash part II in South Delhi and poured kerosene on her. They then tried to set her ablaze.

Tarveen has been admitted to the Safdarjung Hospital with 70 per cent burns. A case under section 307 of the IPC has been registered against the two, police said.

The police said the attack on the Delhi-based designer could be a result of some family dispute.
