Mumbai, Aug 12 (UNI) Union Minister of State (independent charge) for Women and Child Development Renuka Chowdhary urged the elite not to forget the plight of millions of the less fortunate women and children.

She gave this sombre message last evening after inaugurating a hairstyle show 'Night of the Coiffure', which was held to mark the celebration of the inclusion of Rudra Spa into the coveted Intercoiffure Mondial, an international organisation of high quality hairstyling.

The 'in crowd' was in full strength for the event.

Models sashayed down the catwalk displaying an assortment of innovative hairstyles by Armaity and Khurshid, as well as more functional styles which were displayed leading personalities such as Aarti Chabria, Rashmi Uday Singh and Zenab Chauhan.

In addition, there was a display of Spanish dancing, which included actor Kitu Gidwani and her partner performing the 'Bolero'.

Rudra Spa is one of the leading health and beauty spas in the city and has been included in the prestigious Paris-based Intercoiffure organisation, which has members spread over 50 countries.
