5 more Hindi speaking people killed in Assam

Guwahati, Aug 12 (UNI) Five Hindi-speaking labourers were killed by Karbi militants near Rongmom under Baithalangso police station in Assam's Karbi Anglong district last night.

The incident came barely 24 hours after 12 other Hindi-speaking labourers were massacred by the same militant groups.

However, despite Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi's visit to the affected areas yesterday afternoon, the killings were on.
