4 burnt alive in a bus accident in Saharanpur

Lucknow, Aug 12(UNI) At least four people were burnt alive and 18 others sustained burn injuries when a live electric wire fell on a private bus under Deoband police station in Saharanpur district of western Uttar Pradesh today.

However, eye-witnesses claimed the death toll in the accident was eight.

Police sources here said that the bus from Uttrakhand was on its way to Saharanpur when the accident occured.

The injured, 10 of them in critical condition, were admitted to the hospitals at Saharanpur and Deoband.
