Undeclared income worth Rs 1.5 crore uncovered

Barwani, MP, Aug 11 (UNI) A survey was conducted by the Income Tax authorities on two business establishments and undeclared income worth Rs 1.5 crore was uncovered.

Income Tax Officer Rajesh Jha, who was part of the joint team, found undeclared assets worth Rs 75 lakh each from both establishments during 18-hour-long raid, which continued till this morning.

Both businessmen had been directed to pay tax as per rules.

The survey was carried out by a joint team of Income Tax authorities from Khandwa, Khargone and Burhanpur. The joint team was led by Assistant Commissioner Arpana Karan.
