Rajnath congrats Ansari on winning V P election

New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) BJP President Rajnath Singh called on Dr Hamid Ansari, who will be sworn in as Vice President of the country this evening, and congratulated him on winning the election.

BJP spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said he spent some time with Dr Ansari.

Later, Mr Singh left for Patna to visit the flood-hit areas to assess the situation.

The party alleged that the Centre had not rushed adequate help to Bihar and Rajasthan to face severe floods.
