Plastic Surgeon of Haryana to dine with Bush
Hisar, Aug 11 (UNI) Dr Sunil Soni, a cleft-palate surgery expert from Haryana, will be among 50 Plastic Surgeons of international repute to dine with US President George Bush on October 30.
Dr Soni has been invited by American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) to take part in its annual meeting in October and later attend the presidential dinner.
In a communication to Dr Soni, Mr Brian Mullaney, Co-founder and President of The Smile Train, the global social organisation of plastic surgeons engaged in restoring the smile of poor children affected by cleft-palate, has informed Dr Soni that he was chosen as one of the 50 Plastic Surgeons from world over to participate in the scientific sessions of ASPS and attend the presidential dinner.
"This invitation is one small way we are trying to thank you for being such a good partner and for helping us help so many children.
At Baltimore, Maryland, you will be able to attend any of sessions you like. Special sessions have been arranged on cleft surgery." Dr Sunil Soni told UNI here that he was grateful for the recognition granted by ASPS and had sent his acceptance of the invitation.
