Oppn leader Modhwadia visits flood-hit areas in Guj

Gandhinagar, Aug 11 (UNI) Leader of opposition in Gujarat Assembly Arjun Modhwadia who is on a two-day visit to flood-hit areas, took an ariel survey of Porbandar, Jamnagar and Junagadh districts of Saurshtra region.

Mr Modhwadia also took stock of the relief work being carried out in different areas.

He urged the State government to grant a monthly assistence of Rs 2,500 to each of the flood-victims for the loss of their livelihood and another Rs 50,000 to those whose properties were damaged in the floods.
