Manipur's LPG bottling plant idle after two drivers abducted

Imphal, Aug 11 (UNI) Altogether two drivers of the LPG Bottling Plant at Sekmai here have been abducted by suspected Kuki militants.

Official sources said the plant, inaugurated by Chief Minister O.

Ibobi Singh on July 29, had barely started work when the two drivers were kidnapped on August three and August six respectively at Assam by suspected Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) cadres.

Labourers Union president of the plant said work at the bottling plant had stopped since August six as there was no movement of vehicles after the kidnapping.

Meanwhile, Manipur Police informed Assam Police about the abduction and investigation was on, official sources said.
