Haryana to have R and D Centre to improve building material

Chandigarh, Aug 11 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced that a Research and Development Center would be set up in Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram Science and Technology University, Murthal to improve the entire range of building material.

The Chief Minister made this announcement while speaking as a Chief Guest in the Annual Function of the Haryana State Brick Kilns Owners Associations today at Sonipat.

Accepting one of the major demands of the Association, the Chief Minister said that with the help of this center new techniques and systems would be found out to improve the quality and to increase the quantity of bricks.

Mr Hooda assured kiln owners that all possible assitance and incentives would be given to help them run their Brick Kiln trade smoothly without any fear and pressure.

Presiding over the function, Haryana assembly Speaker Dr Raghuvir Singh Kadian appreciated the Brick Kiln owners' contribution in the field of development by providing employment and houses, especially to the poor people of the state.

Mr. Gulshan Narang, President, Haryana State Brick Kilns Owners Association in his welcome speech thanked Hooda government for solving a number of their problems relating to pollution, sales tax, fly ash, mining and food and supply.

Earlier Mr Hooda innaugrated the newly built Rs 74.85 lakh Tehsil Buliding at Kharkhoda and announced that Kharkhoda would be developed as an IMT like Manesar to sped up industrial development in the region.
