Chouhan holds one-to-one meeting with industrialists
Mumbai, Aug 11 (UNI) In a bid to attract investment into the state Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today met a number of key industrialists including Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Essel Mining and Industries Business Head and Managing Director Ravi Kastia.
Enthused by overwhelming response from leading industrialists during the interactive session here yesterday, the chief minister extended his Mumbai visit till this afternoon and met 18 prominent industrialists in a bid to facilitate investments in industrial sector and other potential areas of development, an official release said.
The other potential investors were Narmada Valley Chairman Rajeev Baheti, Itarsi Oil and Flour Mill Managing Director Vijay Sri Shrimaal, Nagpur-based industrialist Suresh Kapadia, LTC Ltd Managing Director Dilip Kawda, Mobile Telecommunication Director O P Sharma and Gold Development Pvt Ltd's J N Gupta.
The other industrialist who met the CM were Electro-Steel Casting MD Umang Keshariwal, M K Associates Project Consultant M K Ashok, Soya Foundation Chairman O P Goyal, Euro Bond Industries MD Suresh Gala, Mantri Reality Chairman Sunil Mantri, Prozone Liberty International's Nikhil Chaturvedi, Gwalior Chemicals Chairman Hari Singh, Prakash Dal and Flour Mill Promoters Bhagwanjee T Gala and Director Narendra P Shah, Pan India Tourism's Mahesh Bhandari and Top Berth Steel MD Abhay Laddha.
During the one-to-one meeting, the Chief Minister talked about the scope of setting up of new industrial projects and investments in fast emerging areas of development in Madhya Pradesh.
Mr Chouhan told mediapersons that he had assured the investors of full cooperation in their proposed ventures in the state.
