BJP to call on Guv seeking dismissal of Koda govt
Ranchi, Aug 11 (UNI) Enthused by the public response to the August nine state-wide dharna by the BJP against the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government of Jharkhand, the party will call on the governor demanding dismissal of the regime.
BJP state president P N Singh said at a press conference here today that the party's state unit will meet tomorrow to finalise the date to seek an appoinment with Governor Syed Sibtey Razi.
Mr Singh said a rally would be organised here to ''highlight the misdeeds of the Koda government,'' the date for which would also be fixed at tomorow's meeting.
He alleged that the present UPA government was steeped in corruption and added that the chief minister was getting ''mentally disturbed'' on seeing the public response to the BJP's agitation on August nine.
The party had launched state-wide dharna against the Koda government accusing it of indulging in ''rampant corruption'' and failing to curb the price hike in Jharkhand.
The party workers held demonstrations before the district headquarters, courted arrest and were later released by police.
