BJP march against 'unholy' alliance between CPI(M), fundamentalists
Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 11 (UNI) The Kerala unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise dharnas and marches in all the district headquarters on August 14 to expose the ''unholy'' alliance between the CPI(M) and fundamentalist forces and make the people aware of the dangers of such forces in the state.
Briefing newsmen here after the two-day state committee, Party state secretary P K Krishnadas today cautioned that the alliance was ''dangerous' and would invite serious consequences in the state.
He said the BJP would also organise a series of agitations against the Centre's neglect of the state, including bifurcation of Palakkad Railway Division for the formation of the new Salem Division in Tamil Nadu.
As a mark of protest, the BJP would observe a 12-hour hartal on September 14, the inaugural day of new Salem Division.
Prior to this, former Union Minister of State for Railways O Rajagopal would observe a fast at Palakkad projecting the same issue, he said.
