Art of living to launch Eco Drive in Delhi on Independence Day

New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) The Art Of Living Foundation is organising an Eco Drive aimed at raising awareness about cleanliness amongst the people of Delhi, especially the youth, on the occasion of Independence Day.

It will also bring together the youth of Delhi for a social cause.

During this Eco Drive, which can also be called a cleanliness drive, volunteers of The Art Of Living Foundation, along with students from schools such as Bal Bharati Pitampura and St Francis Besales Vikaspuri, will be cleaning different parts of the city. Delhi has been divided into four zones for this purpose.

Equipped with brooms, trash cans, trash bags and other cleaning equipment, Art Of Living volunteers, along with the accompanying students will go to the above mentioned areas and clean them. Each zone will be covered by approximately 100 to 150 volunteers.

This is neither the first nor the last time that The Art Of Living Foundation is organising an Eco Drive. A similar campaign was organised in Surat, with very good results. Future plans include the plantation drive to improve ecology of cities.
