Urban cooperative bank ties up with ING Vyasa Life

Bhubaneswar, Aug 10 (UNI) The Urban Co-operative Bank Limited, Cuttack, has signed an agreement with ING Vyasa Life Insurance to sell life insurance products in the Cuttack district.

Urban Cooperative Bank sources said the agreement was signed by the chief executive officer of Urban Coperative Bank and the general manager of ING Vyas Life Insurance on August eight at Cuttack.

While Urban Cooperative Bank has a working capital of Rs 350 crores and 50,000 shareholders, ING Vyasa Life Insurance operates more than 100 branches and over one million customers in cooperative sector in Orissa.

The agreement was expected to benefit both the cooperative bank and the life insurance company by strengthening their base and increasing their potential customers, sources added.
