SBBJ bank manager arrested for taking bribe of Rs 45,000
Jaipur, Aug 10 (UNI) The anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested a bank manager in Churu district while accepting a bribe of Rs 45,000.
Bureau director general P K Tiwari said Radheyshyam Gupta, manager of State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), Ratangarh branch, had demanded Rs 50,000 from Radhey Shyam Sharma, for nullifying a notice regarding renewal of bank guarantee limit of Rs seven lakh .
Bureau deputy superintendent Jagdish Vyas yesterday led a team to the bank and arrested the bank manager, accepting a bribe of Rs 45,000.
Gupta's Vaisahli Nagar home in Jaipur was also searched and bureau found land documents in Bhiwadi in Alwar district. The papers were being examined.
