Protest against arrest of a villager in Kashmir

Baramulla Aug 10 (UNI) Angry villagers protested at Bandipora in this district demanding release of a person, arrested for allegedly hurling a grenade towards a vehicle.

Official sources said, Ghulam Mohiuddin was arrested after unidentified miscreants hurled a grenade towards a tempo.

However, it missed the intended target and exploded without causing any damage.

The arrest sparked angry protests by the villagers, who blocked the road demanding his release.
