Over one lakh looted from Co-op society office

Kapurthala, Aug 10 (UNI) Burglars took away Rs 1.10 lakh cash from the office of cooperative society at village Sandhu Chatha near Kapurthala town, police today said.

The burglars scaled the outer walls of the office of cooperative society last night and cut the power supply. They then broke into the office and looted the cash after breaking the chest and Almirahs, police said.

A case has been registered a case and police had started investigations.
