One arrested; 3 country-made pistols, 14 cartridges seized

Sangli, Maharashtra, Aug 10 (UNI) The police today arrested a person from Ramapur village in Kadegaon tehsil of the district and recovered three country-made pistols, 14 cartridges from his possession.

Acting on a tip-off that pistols and cartridges were being made for sale, police raided the house of Krushna Sakharam Gaikwad (32) and his uncle Vasant and made the seizure, police said.

Krushna has been arrested while his uncle fled from the site, sources added.
