Minister questions TDP's role in Ramoji Rao land issue
Hyderabad, Aug 10 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Housing Minister B Satyanarayana today asked the Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu why he was responding to the notices served on media baron Ramoji Rao by the Government for possessing about 1,363 acres of excess land under the AP Land Reforms Act.
Addressing the Press here, he said Mr Naidu was showing more interest than the owner of the company. Law would take action against those responsible. Mr Naidu's support to the company would encourage others to encroach upon assigned lands, he opined.
Ranga Reddy district Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) T Manikyala Rao had issued eight separate orders on August eight in respect of six companies of the group and two individuals of the media company for possessing excess lands.
