Malhotra could have used VIP no plates for illegal purposes: Garg

New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Nand Kishore Garg today said the large number of VOP number plates found in possession of land scam kingpin could have been used for illegal works like drug and liquor supply and for trade of prostitutes.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Garg alleged that Malhotra gave shelter to unacceptable elements of society and also gave them his VIP car number so that they could cross the border safely.

Stressing the need for the government setting up a monitoring committee, including a judge and two senior officers, to watch every step in the scandal, Mr Garg said,''this will further help in proper investigation about the unknown aspects of the case.

''The CBI needs to ask Malhotra as to how he converted black money into white'' and about other people who accompanied him in his immoral works.
