Curbs on visitors' entry to Chennai airport

Chennai, Aug 10 (UNI) Entry of visitors into the Kamaraj Domestic and Anna International Airport has been banned since midnight last night as part of inhanced security measures for Independence Day.

Airport sources said the ban would be in force till the midnight of August 17.

Officials have strengthened the security in the airport premises and all vehicles entering the domestic and international terminals were subjected to thorough checks.

Even the baggage of passengers were subjected to thorough checks and frisking.

UNI
