criminal wanted for Bihar, Orissa kidnappings held in UP capital

Lucknow, Aug 10 (UNI) Special task Force(STF) of the Uttar Pradesh police has arrested Abdul Quayum alias Babbu Masala in the state capital for his involvement in several cases of kidnapping in Bihar and Orissa.

According to STF, Quayam, a resident of Kareha village in Karchana of Allahabad district, was wanted in about two dozen criminal casesin both Bihar and Orissa.

DIG Allahabad range has also announce reward of Rs 5000 on the criminal.

Sources said the history sheeter was nabbed near Polytechnic crossing in the state capital. No arms or ammunition was recovered from the criminal.
