Airtel brings Independence day bonanza for pre-paid customers

New Delhi, Aug 10 (UNI) As an Independence Day bonanza, Country's leading mobile service provider Airtel today introduced 'Easy Recharge 1947', for its pre-paid customers in the national capital.

''The initiative is in line with our vision of making communication more affordable and we are sure this will help us maintain our leadership position in the national capital,'' company's COO (Delhi and NCR) Shashi Arora said.

The recharge is priced at Rs 1,947 and enables the customers to get the benefit of full talk time, excluding applicable taxes, a company statement said.

Under the scheme, the Airtel customers can recharge their cell phones for two years, the statement addd.
