120 officers and other ranks in police telecom promoted in JK

Srinagar, Aug 10 (UNI) As many as 120 officers and officials in the Jammu and Kashmir police Telecommunication and ministerial executive (general) were promoted to higher grades with immediate affect.

The promotion orders were issued by Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda today, an official spokesman said.

In the Telecommunication Wing, three Sub-Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Inspectors, fifteen Assistant Sub-Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspectors, twenty six Head Constables were promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspectors in the grade.

Similarly in the Ministerial Executive General Wing, Assisstant Sub-Inspector (Stenography) Mohammad Iqbal has been promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspector, six Assistant Sub-Inspectors (Ministerial Executive Cadre General) have been promoted to the rank of Sub Inspectors.

Twenty six Head Constables (Ministerial Executive Cadre) (General) were promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector (M).

The DGP has also ordered in situ promotions of 18 Inspectors and seven Sub-Inspectors in Telecommunication wing.
