Hisar, Aug 8 (UNI) Chameli, 58, of Budain village in Jind District of Haryana is set to become the oldest Indian mother to give birth to twins.

Chameli and her husband Kapoor Singh, 74, who were married 43 years ago, are eagerly awaiting the day when they will become proud parents for the first time.

Chameli is now 6 months pregnant with the help of in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

Chameli is Kapoor Singh's second wife. His first wife had also failed to bear a child. Chameli too, could not conceive and the couple lost all hope of a progeny when Chameli attained menopause about 10 years back.
