Two Drug peddlers from Bihar arrested, 23 Kg Ganja recovered

New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) The Delhi police have arrested two drug peddlers from the Kashmere Gate area and recovered 23 Kg Ganja from them.

Rameshwar Mehto and Mohd Alam, both hailing from Bihar, were arrested by the police yesterday afternoon when 12 Kg and 11 Kg drugs, respectively were recovered from their bags during a routine checking by police at the ISBT entry gate.

Interrogations revealed that the two, working as casual labourers in Chandigarh, had brought the drugs from Bihar and were carrying them to Chandigarh.

Cases have been filed against them at Kashmere Gate Police station under the NDPS act.
